OUTLINES a graffiti show by: Chas, Reser and Swet

Opening Saturday 14th December from 17:30-21:00

On Saturday the 14th of December we will inaugurate OUTLINES with 3 graffiti masters Chas, Reser and Swet. Swet will be arriving from Denmark, Reser our local from Torino and Chas from Holland will make a top to bottom installation in the gallery along with exceptional artworks prepared exclusively for this exhibition. We look forward to welcoming our friends of the Galo Art Gallery for the inauguration on the 14th of December from 17:30-21:00 with music by Pablo Selecta and special sponsors by Kobra, My Personal Beer Corner and Mr. Serious. Since CHAS started to paint graffiti in 1989 his aim has always been to raise the bar bit by bit. First by painting in more daring places than others but nowadays it’s more about challenging himself on a creative level. Every painting has to be better than the last one. An eye for detail and well-considered colour combinations are distinctive of his work. Being a true graffiti artist the letters have always been the foundation of his work. Either on a raw concrete wall or an a canvas. Letters that have evolved, become transparent, and that have become one with the wild background they are painted on. Because for Chas graffiti is all about the Love for Letters.

RESER, born in Turin 1974.
I started painting in the summer of 1994, taking inspiration from the walls and paintings along the railways during my travels to Paris and Amsterdam by train. Back then it was not common to see graffiti in Turin… but one night I had the good fortune to meet Spyder, a writer who was one of the first in the graffiti scene of Turin. From that day on I never turned my back on the spray can! Member and founder of TOT’s crew since 1997, Love letters,International Graffiti Crew. 

Since the eighties SWET has been an undeniable presence in the international graffiti scene, influencing new generations with his extremely well executed paintings. Famous for his lively letters and colorful masterpieces SWET continues to impress in a scene that is constantly changing. SWET is born in Denmark 1971 and had his first graffiti experience in 1985.
