Nychos

Our next show opening on the the 13^th of April 2013 will be a solo show, 200 square meters dedicated to Nychos only. If you have been following street art in the last few years I am sure you know who I am talking about... The last three years Nychos has been part of some of the most important art festivals around the world, collaborating with some of the most influential artists of the moment. He has, after 3 years decided to dedicate some time to show his art works in galleries. The Galo Art Gallery will host one of the fist shows he will be part of in 2013. Get ready for Nychos Torino take over PELLIS OS OMENTUM from 13/April/2013 to 18/May/2013 at the Galo Art Gallery in Via Saluzzo 11/g Torino, Italy.

The Austrian urban art and graffiti illustrator Nychos has been part of the international art scene since more than 10 years now. Beside founding the art collective RABBIT EYE MOVEMENT in the year 2005 he is well known for his outstanding art pieces in the urban environment as well as his exhibitions around the world. Nychos is also part of international graffiti and urban illustration crews like “The Lords” and “The Weird Crew”.
After his last solo show in London in the year 2010 at the Pure Evil Gallery he focuses
on his personal development on the streets and followed the invitations to numerous big
street art festivals. His characters and art works are inspired by comic, splatter and horror motives as well as his attraction to anatomy and entrails. The focus and  interpretation of dissected motives in a combination of colourful outlines can be seen as a branding for Nychos illustrations, walls and art works. “Combining the comic character with how a body actually works is really interesting to me”. Nychos upcoming show in Turin will unite all those mentioned points, a conglomerate of the new experiences he made on the streets during the last two years presented with his usual colourful reinterpretation of dissected motives and characters on canvas and paper. “Follow the white rabbit”
