The exhibition titled Bermuda Shorts Forrest includes new art works by both artists along with several site-specific installations throughout the gallery. These two artists have their own unique styles, both have very different techniques, yet their work shares a pleasant and mysterious quality.
Will Barras has a background in illustration and animation, his paintings are full of mystery and movement, with forms and characters created by colors and shapes flowing through each other in a natural way. Will has been a globe trotter since the early days of street art, doing walls and shows in Asia, the United States and Europe since the beginning of the century.
Ufocinque is continuously searching for new techniques, materials and solutions for his art works. His installations, made from layers of hand cut paper, allow him to create entirely new environments to fit the structure or space he is working in. His light-box installations are a reflection of his larger installations that have been used in theater, fashion shows and window displays for shops. The light boxes are made up of carefully dissected layers of hand cut paper that focus and draw your attention to the power of shadow and light reflecting though the boxes.
